Why is that first draw unclipped? rope drag issues?

Don't remember for sure, long time ago... but yes, I think Travis reached down and unclipped that to limit rope drag up higher. Can't think of any other reason to unclip a piece that could keep you off the anchors. I do remember that the piece at his elbow is bomber.
