The Maggot Buttress is a needle in a haystack there is only one climb here but it is worth doing.

Getting There

Continue past the grunge wall for about 100ft past some broken rock. Right next to the Poker Pile. Look for a lone bolt on a clean face

Super fun climb! Hard 8ish move past the bolt, into a perfect horizontal. Great gear throughout.
Certainly worth doing since you need to walk past it to get to "the arete" or any of the awesome sport climbs.

  • **Needs an anchor! Do not attempt to lower. Sketchy dead tree and very loose blocks at the top. Rap off a small piece of red webbing with a single (broken) non-locker.
