I am going to be passing through next week. I have never been to Zion NP before, but I will be able to spare about 2-3 hours to explore. I know that is not much time, but I am looking for suggestions on the best way to use it, either short hike or drive. I am hoping to make it there to climb one day, this is just not the trip. Any suggestions are appreciated.
I would recommend hiking angels landing, driving up to the kolob terrace on the west side of the park, or hiking the narrows. Either getting up avoided the canyons or going deep into one. I also really like ferrying a bike and cycling up the main canyon and stopping at some of the short hikes (court of patriarchs, weeping rock)

The buses are running so that'll eat up some of your time already. Instead of Zion I'd go in Kolob Canyons. That way you can drive in be more flexible with your time, and be around fewer people.
