KailasGear not shipping my order

So I ordered a few Totems directly from kailasgear.com, as I was able to get a good deal. It said the order would ship within 1-3 business days. It's now been 9 business days, and my order status still says "awaiting shipping". I was charged for the order long ago. I emailed their customer service but got an automatic response saying their representative would be out of the office for another two weeks. I hope that doesn't mean my cams aren't going to ship for another two weeks. I'm a little frustrated/nervous by this, as I was hoping to have them for some upcoming trips soon. Is my nervousness justified? Has anyone else had this problem with them? |

You can't order from China (particularly over Chinese new years) and expect any sort of 'service' or 'expediency'. Plan on your trip without the cams. But you will get them eventually. |

I ordered my set of totems from them and they arrived in a week. Once the new year is over you should see them show up soon enough! |

Me too, hombre! I ordered 4 cams from them on 2/12 and it still says "awaiting shipping." So you are not alone. I sent them two messages too with no response. I guess it is likely the Chinese New Year problem. Will check into this thread later for an update. Cheers from Osaka, john |

Glad I got my order in a bit over a month ago now. My experience was actually quite pleasant. I think it took slightly less than a week from order to arrival. The only thing that went wrong in the process was that USPS did not put anything about signature required on my tracking info and I missed the delivery at my apartment and had to deal with some really shitty USPS employees in order to get my package. |

Ordered on the 11th, still awaiting shipping, but I knew about the Chinese New Year deal. The cams are out of stock now, so my concern is that they may not be able to fulfill all orders. We'll see. |

It's not on the site anymore, but when I ordered during the CNY there was obvious text at some point during the checkout process that indicated if you order between these dates (whatever the CNY dates are) it won't be shipped until the end of the month or so (don't have a screenshot of the text, just a reminder in my Google Calendar telling me to wait until the 1st of march before checking on the order. FWIW I ordered on the 12th and it's still awaiting shipping) |
