Looks like it is going to be a joke but we can add it to the collection of all the other climbing movies we laugh at.

It's the real deal. It's a grade 5.

Ha, this movie would have no plot if they’d just wear a damn helmet.

The best part is when they act like they could not swing back over... build an anchor and swing leaving your gear behind!!!! Heck there is even bolts they clip into that they could swing from so wtf?

I always pick my partners for epic lines based on a meet up at the bouldering area.

Don't know the climb, but it's definitely Whitney Portal, explained in the "Production" link on the film's site:

The amazing looking dihedral is the 3rd pitch of "Gangway", 5.12a (though I have not climbed it...)

I think it's brilliant because of this!  There's definitely room for more super cheese-ball climbing films done as earnestly as possible.

Looks like it has the potential to be The Rocky Horror Picture Show for climbers.

The Grippening Plot hole #2: who trusts a partner for what we've identified now as "a grade V 12a" that falls of the opening moves of Hero Roof (V0) in the milks? Shady shit man.....

Why doesn't Brad sport a man bun? I think he really needs a man bun to date this film.

"Look, we can't leave my rack on rappels to get off this stone, so either you lead the next pitch or we just die. I spent years building that rack."

"You can get another rack."

"No."

"YOU CAN GET ANOTHER RACK!!!"

"NOOOOOO!!!!!"

I'm so confused.  It's funny and stuff, but ... is there a movie?    The woman climber is gorgeous, btw.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
