I know it's been a sad winter so far.  I created this support group to help out all of the sad fellow skiers.

Not really, this is just to talk about snow

Colorado skiing!  ...edit, not really Colorado, that run would be too steep to be in Colorado

I know Canada seems backwards but you really can fly there.  Don't have to drive

Don’t drive anywhere. I was rubbing those conditions in your face :)

At least November and December weather has been spectacular for climbing.

It's been great ice climbing in Silverton without looking at the avalanche forecast.

Joe, it really seems like you don't do much. I don't fly in airplanes, I don't ice climb.  Lots of no from you.  You should really see the glass as half full.  That really is a prerequisite for living in Denver

You could’ve used the original snow report I used as I used to be there :( I don’t know what’s worse living in Maryland or not living in Whistler.

Powder Project would be a perfect place for this thread.  It seems out of place on climbing website. Teton gravity is good to.  Although a slightly tougher crew. Lots of hurt feelings over there.

There is a snow conditions thread (most) every season. I think the /intent/ is to describe conditions relevant for snow climbing and mountaineering, but it does sometimes shift to back-country skiing conditions, especially when related to ski mountaineering. Beside, Powder Project just doesn't seem to have reached critical mass to be worthwhile yet and maybe never will.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
