I'd be interested in Pinnacle Gully! I tried it previously and had to retreat due to weather. I have lead multi pitch up to WI3+ with easy mixed sections and I've done up to WI5+/M5 on TR/follow.

Steve, I would be interested in going but what kind of experience do you have to have?  I'm "older" 58, but have done quite a bit of alpine climbing and some guided ice climbing so not super experienced.  In pretty good shape and would like to get involved but also if you think its not a good idea I understand.  Just throwing it out there.  Steve from MA

Hi Steve I'd be very interested. Are you meaning once every 2 weeks? I'm well experienced in the alpine.

Is anyone interested in one of the Huntington gullies on the 27th? I have been doing an annual solo Christmas night hike (almost always Lion's Head) for the past 20+ years or so, only missing a few years here and there. I shove off around 02:30 to summit around sunrise. I'd like to get on a more technical route this year and the weather is looking like it will be clearer (but colder) on the 26-27th. Ideally I'd like to solo Pinnacle or Yale (or anything else) with a partner and perhaps bring a short thin rope and harness for emergencies, etc. Of course avy conditions will have to be monitored with the snow over the next few days and winds picking up after. I'm coming from CO (but from NH) and will have my personal gear and a harness.

I was planning a solo ascent up Washington on NYE. My plan was the classic Tuckerman Ravine to Huntington Ravine and up Pinnacle Gully. Unfortuantly, the weather is tottaly gnarly so I’m thinking company might be a good idea. Is anybody interested?

I was thinking New Year’s Day if that’s possible
