If anyone finds a Cassin X-All Mountain somewhere between the top of the Notch and the Cables raps on Longs I would love it returned!  Plenty of beer and good karma too!

Climbed North Clear Creek Falls and South Clear Creek Falls outside of Creede. There's water running underneath but they're in good condition.

Lake City Ice Park is struggling but getting there. Going to explore a gully on the south side of Henson Creek at the Ute Ulay sign about mine remediation. Things up high are looking good.

Heading to the front range from GJ this weekend. Never really climbed anything over there, just looking to swing the tools into anything. What's in relatively close to Boulder?

Ouray Ice Park is opening December 23rd. Not all areas will be open.

Silver Plume Falls 12/21/2017

The wall is in, but barley. There is a lot of water flowing down the center of the wall, and the ice is thin in places.

Western Slope Climbers

2 of 3 trucks we had parked in Rifle Mountain Park today were broken into and our wallets were stolen.  The thieves didn't touch our climbing gear, iPods, or other valuables, just the wallets.  There have also been numerous reports at Main Elk Creek for similar break-ins.  We saw a dark blue hatchback (Pontiac Vibe?) stop, get out and driving away from our vehicles.  If you are in the area, be mindful of your valuables and if you see anything suspicious or the vehicle please contact the Rifle PD (for Rifle Mountain Park) or Garfield County Sheriff.  Thanks and Happy Climbing now that we finally have some colder temps!

Is Lincoln still good to go? Might be getting out for a solo jaunt in the next couple days.

This is a great thread, thanks guys!

We are new to CO, and our Google-fu has not been able to unearth other sources for local ice conditions.  Any suggestions?  Or is this as good as the information sharing gets in CO?

@JonasMR

Is Ouray area local? This conditions report gets updated weekly-ish:

There's a Colorado Ice Conditions group on Facebook. You have to join the group to be able to post, but anyone can view posts.

@ Goodhue: we're on the front range, but definitely bookmarking that site.  Thanks.

@Martin: Awesome!  Thanks much.  I might have to resurrect my Facebook account...
