Watch out for scams!
- Do not use PayPal "gift" payments, wire transfers, Western Union, etc.
- Use PayPal credit card payments, or other systems that protect you from fraud.

But I take it you have a giant dildo sticking up your asshole. So it doesn't really matter what I say because your response will be something pathetic and inflammatory. |

Assuming no one in the world is an asshole (which I stupidly did until now), "paying for goods" is nothing more than a 3% donation to a multibillion$ corporation. Now I am 100% in agreement with you about the goods and services payment, on both sides. And before it goes forgotten: a genuine thank you everyone else I've bought from so far and came through! |

Maybe MP should have same rule as other forums do. You can't post in for sale thread without a minimum post count and or days since signing up. Not saying it would work 100%, but would probably help a little. Maybe an eBay type seller rating that gets out right next to there profile on both app and website so you know if you're buying from a legit person, or a brand new guy and might wanna take the time to search their posts, pay the 3% fee, etc.... I'm no computer person, know nothing about code, but can't be to hard to out something like that into MP could it? |

Ice4life wrote: I’ve seen some forums have the seller rating sort of thing. I doubt it’s a trivial addition, and seeing that this forum is a free service, maybe we just need to ask really really nicely haha As for sellers having to have a minimum post count, I’ve see them on other forums too, but it just ends up reducing the number of items for sale. I think there tends to be a lot of stealth folks on forums who read a lot and only post for buying and selling. (I do that on Cascade Climbers.) A good rule of thumb when buying from a new member is just to pay the 3%, or maybe negotiate it in with the seller. |

A truly solid rating system is complex to implement and maintain even those that do have a reselling issue where people will buy known good identities to take ownership of to do future business. I've seen all types of I'll buy your active eBay account if it has good rep and certain amount of use time Some external companies like this one attempt to provide a digital reputation that users can carry across multiple sites. |

5.samadhi wrote: Maybe it was a different guy. It’s sort of too bad because he was an interesting character. He got a lot of grief about the gear, but iirc everything got straightened out in the end. I hectored him about the loans, but he was straightforward about it and made his case pretty well. I still disagreed but had to respect that. As for the cardarine, I think it’s making you ornery ;-) What I don’t understand is why, if you are going to use PEDs, you don’t just use anabolics? They’ve been around for 60 years and the risks and benefits are much better understood than some new mystery agent. |

Worst part of getting older is the need for longer recovery periods. I miss the time when I could climb day after day. Kept me safely away from MP. FWIW, back to the OP- I seem to recall there’s a scam the buyer can pull using f/f that leaves the seller out his/her gear and no money. So I always just pay the fee or work it out with the counter party. |
|
Mark E Dixon wrote: Buyer-end scams are easy: send $ via PP Goods&Services, claim you never got the gear, bitch to PP, get $ back. Lesson - sellers: always track your shipments. |

I have sold things using F&F in the past, but I don't anymore...if the buyer pays with standard paypal and you use paypal to ship via USPS, the shipping is cheaper and a lot easier so that pretty much offsets the 3% fees, and you still have protection. |
