Coming to Bozeman for Ice Fest and looking for a place to stay? Well we have an awesome guest room that we list on Air BnB. Great view of the Bridgers and I can also give you access to my work bench to shape up your tools at night. We can even work out transport to and from Hyalite or the Emerson if you don't want to rent a car.

If you have any questions, shoot me a message.

Never knew there was an nice fest anywhere in the US.

I live in San Francisco and ice climbed a few times in Chamonix.

Caught the bug and spent way too much money on gear, hah.

Anyway, I looked up the event and seems pretty cool. What are the highlights of the fest in your opinion??

Thanks!!

It's all about the clinics really.  and the beer.  I'm psyched on getting to see the Fred Becky movie in Bozeman.

Usually sells out in the first week, most of the beginner/Intermediate in the first hour.  In addition to the fest, Bozeman is a pretty fun town, plus there is great skiing close by at Bridger and Big Sky is about an hour south.  Definitely easier flying in here versus Ouray, where you still have at least a 5 hour drive from the closest major airport.

I'm interested for Wednesday and Thursday nights. I will have car. I just booked at the Western Heritage Inn but can cancel.

Do you guys climb? Really, I am looking for partners on Thursday and Friday for WI3-5 (I can lead 4 and happy to follow 5). If you could point me in the right direction, that would be a HUGE bonus for me! I will also post in the partners forum (if there is one).

Best,
Alex

Alex,

Room is still available. Check out the A BnB link below. Yes I am a climber, but I will be out of town for work until Thursday night. But Friday I’d be psyched.

Besides Bozeman there are quite a few others, there are plenty more lesser fests as well.
