Stolen Rack, Portland
|
Hi MP- Late last night, my friend's car was stolen from a garage near Portland state university. This sucked, but what also sucked is that my rack and rope were in the car. The rack is composed of totem cams, black diamond C4 cams, and alien cams. Everything is marked with red and black electrical tape. The rope is a blue sterling nano 60 M rope, 9.2 mm. My friends rope is a green mammut infinity, 70 M, 9.5mm Any hints on where people sell stolen gear in the portland area? Anyways, if you see anyone selling gear below market value, please keep an eye out. |

Ugh. That sucks! I've heard of a few car break ins lately where climbing gear was stolen was in Portland. I'd keep an eye out on places like Craigslist, Next Adventure, Pawns Shops, etc. I'll also keep my eyes peeled for ya. |

Hey thanks Chris. Anywhere else we should post this? I'm not in Portland but my partner lives there. |

I would say, that one looks like an ill-gotten rack for sure. Unfortunately, not mine! I really appreciate all the input The black totem is certainly the most distinguishing part of my rack, they're a little hard to find... |

Guys, they found the car five blocks away with all the climbing gear intact. Except maybe my nut tool is missing? People are so weird. Thanks for all the help! |
