That flake might be a good example of a reason to stay closer to the line of bolts "on route". When I clean and prep a route I try hard to imagine where other people might go. I wouldn't have thought to clean out the chimney on this one however as the bolts are around the corner to the right. If you make your own variation that is awesome but it won't be safe unless you make it so.

I'll keep that in mind Lee. Thanks for the advice. Sorry, but I edited the comment in the photo where I spoke about the flake Ladd removed before I saw your post.

Next time I will work out the kinks to ensure it is safe for all.

This is an easy, dirty and enjoyable climb in the crack to the anchors. It's safe to TR and is probably a7 if you climb chimneys or an 8 if you don't. An option if you have someone in your group that cannot climb a 10c.

Social Obligation is the face climb to my right.
