This is not the same area as Herb Lake Landing, but since it is on the same lake I figured this was an appropriate page for it to be included on.

Wekusko South Bouldering Area is a small limestone cliff band and boulder field just off highway 39 at the south edge of Wekusko Lake. The bush is thick and the boulders are hard to find. There are a couple boulder problems that were put up in summer 2017 and there is potential for many more first ascents.

But lets be honest, go to Herb Lake Landing. No need to be coming here.

Getting There

From Winnipeg: Take the 6 north. Turn left at Ponton (signs for The Pas). Go passed the little Wekusko lake pullout/fishing spot and pull onto the shoulder at the Wekusko Lake Sign (54.64558, -99.872372). Crash bush southbound for 100 feet to the cliff band and boulders. The boulders are on the opposite side of the road than the lake.
