For trad cragging, through, Squamish is the best I've seen, and I've been to most of the notable contenders. The quantity, quality, and variety in Squamish is pretty much unmatched anywhere I've been. I haven't been to Arapiles yet, though.

While Yosemite is amazing, it is the long routes, not the cragging, that makes it great. The cragging is good, but not the main attraction. Defining cragging as single pitch climbing and short, low comittment multipitch.

Indian Creek is amazing and unique and beautiful, and deserves a spot on the list of top trad crags. But it is so specialized, as a category by itself, that it is hard to compare it directly to other areas.

The Adirondacks deserve mention as perhaps the most underrated great trad cragging area. A superb area with a fraction of the fame it deserves.

Quiet!  That plus sucks; you need way too many cams.

I would assume most Index locals have been to Squamish?

Squamish and Indian Creek get my vote.

And so we go on... until every crag in No. America has been mentioned in this thread.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
