Access Issue: RAIN & WET ROCK
Details
Corpse Wall sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. After a heavy storm the rock will remain wet, sometimes for several days. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB during or after rain. A good rule of thumb is that if the ground near your climb is at all damp, then do not climb.
Description
More of a variation to Route #6 that has been recently cleaned and is quite fun.
This route shares the first three bolts and the anchor with "Route #6". Climb past the tree, then cut right to an obvious crack and follow to the top. Traverse left to the shared anchor.
This is a great route for beginner trad leaders, as the first part is bolt-protected, and there are plenty of gear placements the rest of the climb.
