Thanks for that, nothing more clearly shows the current situation better than those images. :D

When there is a 60+' snow cone at the base of the Central Pillar of Frenzy on Middle Cathedral at 4000' on the Valley floor people shouldn't need any more information to know that the cables are under a ton of snow from 8000-9000'.

^ yeah baby!

Going to Sequoia next week for a X-country ski vacation with the non-climbing wife. Glad to see there's plenty of snow.

Just dropped a group off at Onion Valley on the East side 2 days ago. Independence Peak which is 12,400 or something:

We dropped their cars off in Sequoia at Wolverton and they were gonna ski back to them. You could easily ski from the lot at Wolverton as far as you wanted to go. Views of Castle Rock Spire were amazing from 198...didn't stop to take a snap but I wish I did. Snow line in the picture there is about 8000 feet.

Haha, I learned 2 things from this runaway thread. Well, 3.

1) I'm going to love MP
2) I can't wait to be crusty AF
3) Always consult the Google first.

In case anyone is curious, last month my lady and I drove through Utah chasing slot canyons and hot springs. Much more relaxing.

Good to hear! I was coming to ask how the trip went.

Dude, FFS relax. The "default" for credit when any image is posted on ST is to credit the poster and these insignificant errors happen due to oversight. Everyone knows I wasn't in your bros airplane. I'll run right over there and fix it...Think I'll change it to "credit: Butt Hurt Coastie"? TBH as far as I know from what you posted they are not even your photos?

In fact (lol) it seems someone is re-re-sharing the images and giving me credit ie not my problem. Pro Tip: anything posted on the Web is fair game for public non-commercial use to help others with information. If you want credit, watermark your photos or **politely** ask others to credit you (or maybe, the guy that actually took the images).

As far as being "the man" on conditions lol. Seriously, just having my fun where I can find it. If you don't like it, sounds like I can't help you.

People with sense are posting in this thread simply saying thanks (like I did when I quoted you above) for simply sharing cool shots...think about it. Seriously, we are just posting shots that are pretty pictures out of stoke for Yosemite and this year's epic snowfall.

I thought this one was pretty (and I thought the ones you shared were AWESOME too ...today, below, snow is melting but unstable Spring Pattern continues):

the longer you wait the more people you have to deal with....plowing through some snow is worth it!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
