Best place to live in Colorado?

I know this has been asked a thousand times but I'm looking for opinions on the best place to live in CO. I want easy access to climbing, trail running, mountain biking, and winter mountaineering. City size is not important but I'm in the flooring industry so a city that's growing with a decent amount of construction would probably be ideal. I just want to be in a mountain town. I'm in Phoenix at the moment and it's the opposite of where I want to be. Let me know what you think!

Towns around the San Juan mountains.  South east Utah is close by too.  Durango namely.

This has been asked 1000 times. Please provide some locations you are considering.

Considering Colorado Springs but it seems to have mixed reviews from what I've read. I've been to Denver and Boulder and loved both places but I'm not sure about the cost of living

if you are thinking about boulder then look into housing in gunbarrel or somewhere in between boulder and denver, like broomfield or lafayette. boulder can be quite expensive but its a great place to live.

The front range is the worst of Colorado. And the southwest corner of the state is full. I would check out Utah.

Are you feeling ok. This is the first time we haven't gotten the P Springs plug.

Utah.  But first live in CO long enough to get a CO plate before you move, to piss off all the short- to medium-term transplants to Utah off.  Then move to Idaho and look down your nose at all of the Utards that are crowding up City of Rocks.

THIS!!! that's the trend these days.

OP you're too late for CO it's not cool anymore

Evergreen always tickled me, as does Pine and Georgetown.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
