Best place to live in Colorado?

I know this has been asked a thousand times but I'm looking for opinions on the best place to live in CO. I want easy access to climbing, trail running, mountain biking, and winter mountaineering. City size is not important but I'm in the flooring industry so a city that's growing with a decent amount of construction would probably be ideal. I just want to be in a mountain town. I'm in Phoenix at the moment and it's the opposite of where I want to be. Let me know what you think!

Towns around the San Juan mountains.  South east Utah is close by too.  Durango namely.

Considering Colorado Springs but it seems to have mixed reviews from what I've read. I've been to Denver and Boulder and loved both places but I'm not sure about the cost of living

if you are thinking about boulder then look into housing in gunbarrel or somewhere in between boulder and denver, like broomfield or lafayette. boulder can be quite expensive but its a great place to live.
