Hey All,

I am moving to the Anchorage area from Colorado for the summer, and am looking for a climbing buddy or two! I'll be living a bit north of town in Eagle River. I am new to this area so any advice on good sport crags is also appreciated. Thanks!

Me too, though for longer than the summer. My fiancee and I are both climbers and are looking for folks to climb with. I picked up this book , which has some pretty good information.

There is some fun sport climbing in Eagle River, and hatcher pass has a ton of high quality trad and bouldering. There will be anchorage crews headed to hatcher most nice weekends. PM me if you are looking to get out.

Speaking of moving to Anchorage, my fiancee and I are hoping to buy a house but don't have time to go up to Anchorage before to actually look at them. If anyone has a lead on a place we could rent short term that is friendly to dogs, I'd be interested to know...
