I'm not sure where the rope is supposedly getting friction from, it's all smoooooth up there!

I'm not sure where the rope is supposedly getting friction from, it's all smoooooth up there!
Clipping the second to last bolt after the not-as-hard-as-it-looks runnout. Anyone 5'9" or taller will love the exposure. The drilling/clipping stance is so solid, you'll clip with leisure. Shorter folks will need to work a little more.
Happily Ever Shafter, a surprisingly challenging chimney.
Unknown climber who randomly showed up to crush while we were there.
After I lowered off, Trevor followed the line with a clean ascent with no rope drag while our fixed line hangs clean. This route comes with a lot of air, but is well protected in the hard bits. Go enjoy it!
My patient belayer following Happily Ever Shafter after a long and tense belay while I Elvis-legged the FA while drilling on lead. <br> <br> The start is very downward-flared and pretty challenging. Please feel free to consensus grade.
