Looking for a specific pitch of climbing.

Hi folks, looking for some recommendations. Ideally I'm looking for a single top-ropable(sp) pitch of hard/desperate stemming. Some friends and I are looking to practice this specific technique of climbing, and wanted to find an area to practice outdoors. Mostly looking in the Red Rock area but open to other areas close by as well. Thanks for any help.

You've requested an odd mix of guidelines; desperate/hard is not usually associated with easily topropable.

I don't know how hard is hard, but if you can lead 5.9 trad you could run up Friendship Route at Alcohol Wall (also called The Mysterious Ampitheater) and put a toprope on Mai Tai, Which has some stemming in the 5.10+ range. Most of the harder stemming pitches I can think of are in the middle of multipitch routes.

Thanks guys, I'll check those out. Yeah, I know it's an odd set of specs. I got spanked on the crux pitch of Night Crawler last weekend (and i wasn't even leading it) and was looking to strengthen some weak areas. Just a shit climber trying to get better :)

Ah yes, single pitch and hard = Jtree. I should of thought of that. lol!
