Geez! Okay Donald, you have my respect. 65 mph wind gusts and not all that warm. I wimped and curled up in the morning room with a book and a fourth cup of coffee.

Well yes, that day the wind was going West to East like a jet, but so amazingly it was only at the top where it was very windy. On the cliff itself it was not too bad, yet it did blow away the warm air that usually hangs around in the sun on there. Now Saturday was the day where the wind was traveling in an entirely different direction and blowing over dead trees down in the talus field. That was the day where it was all very disturbing and distracting, and what came next was much much worse. It rained cats and dogs so violent that you could not see 20 feet in front of you in gale force winds. Anyone caught in that without a rain coat would barely survive with merely a down jacket.
