This is really my favorite climbing season since you can be sure the snakes aren't out yet (never quite certain in the fall when they finally den up). It can be 32 degrees in the parking lot on a day like this but warm enough to climb in shirt sleeves once on the rock… but with the snow in the hills still a lot of folks aren't even thinking about climbing yet.
