Human poop on Center Route in South Platte

WARNING: Somebody pooped on the first belay ledge Wench's and threw it down to the base of the route. There are little bits of poop scattered at the base and a pretty sizable amount on top of the start. Yee be warned, my climbing partner got poop-hands this weekend. It was super gross.

If you are the culprit and you find yourself reading this, please go back and clean it up thoroughly. Two of the most classic climbs in the state and you literally soiled them.

This is gross and inexcusable, people who do this should be banished from crags until they do a hefty amount of community service-type cleanup.
I once stepped in poo at the 3rd pitch of Recompense, it was terrible....luckily it started down pouring and most was washed away as we rapped off.

Phillip...good luck shaming the perp into feeling guilty enough to go back and clean up their mess, as they should. Better to catch them in the act and drag their rope and gear through it. I feel your pain and angst though. Many hours of community service cleaning restrooms and port-a-potties would be well deserved.

It was very disgusting and very unfortunate, but there are two bright sides.

1) The raptor closures start in 8 days giving 5 months of rain and sun to rid us of this curse.

2) The poop may have magical powers as with this poop on my hands I I somehow managed to send Wunsch's Dihedral.

The bottom line is that one should always carry a bag for emergencies such as this...

When did you climb Wunsch's? We were in the area on Sunday but we were out of sight on Don't Fear the Boogie Man, so we can't be too sure who did it. If you find out who did it you might want to bag it and extrude it it into their climbing shoes.
