Does anyone know about climbing in North Western Nevada? Around thousand creek gorge?

Just curious. I've driven 140 between Oregon and Nevada a few times and have admired the cliffs that line road but have never gone over to explore them. On Google maps there's a real impressive gorge. Any knowledge?

This is thousand creek gorge. I haven't been there, but I have driven past it and noticed it on Google maps. I googled the name and this is what popped up. It's 5 miles long. In the 5 miles stretch there has to be good climbing in there somewhere. It's really far away from.me though.

I did manage to finally make my way there. I was surprised I didn't come across it with my I totally googling.

Word in that thread was that it has good sport potential. Multipitch is possible but it needs more effort to establish.

If I lived closer I'd do some exploring there. As it is it's close to 8hours from me.
