Hey Boise, help me out!!!

My best up old self is in dire need of climbing, hiking, mountain biking (maybe, need to learn off road and don't have quite the right bike, yet), and coffee swilling partners. Also open to gym climbing, and have an unused membership at Planet Fitness.

Honestly, right now, I'm feeling a little intimidated about climbing. I never was any great shakes at it, and now arthritis is suddenly making life harder. Turns out, best "cure" for my knee(s) is exercise, so I really need to ramp up my activity, change my habits, and make taking care of my self a priority.

I have everything for climbing but a rope. I don't have a car, though, so I would be relying on your kindness for rides.

If you already know me, or think you do, yes, I mean you! I need you guys to help me!

If you don't know me, I'm an outside climber, also go to the BSU climbing gym now and then. I'm solid belaying up to around 160# lead climbers outside, and have top rope belayed about 230# inside.

My main climbing partner has been my 22 year old son, who is super solid, but, getting his own life, and our schedules don't mesh very well.

Totally open to young, old, couples, parents and kids, dogs, smokers, whatever, just so you don't expect me to be your rope gun, or get anywhere at any great speed when hiking/biking.

Thanks! Helen

How's it going? I've been gone for a month but I'm back now and ready to climb. Send me a message or reply back and we can figure something out.

Sent a PM, Roy.

Elliot, you still in Boise, and interested?

If I can't line up people to have fun with, I'll be stuck in a regular gym with actual exercise machines. Aaaghhh! Well, okay, gotta do that too. Ah well.

Sorry I'm not in Boise anymore. I just could not find work that pleased me. I moved back to the Denver area... I'm sorry we never got out to adventure, if you and/or your son ever come out to Colorado hit me up and hopefully I'll have a place for you to stay and show you around.
Good luck Elliott

Winter is finally departing!

I am still hoping for kind, patient, folks who would add an extra to their climbing group. My abilities aren't great, but the stoke is high.

I still don't have a car, just a bike for transportation, so I'd need to bum rides, too. Hoping to car shop this spring!

Let me know, up for hiking and biking also, as stated above.

Best, Helen
