the Lewis-Glacier, January 2017: seen from Pidge 9, south-east-face Point Nelion. Left side: Pointe Lenana, right side: Austrian Hut. Due to climate change, the glacier is broken into two parts! The rocks between the two parts are easy to traverse. You don´t need crampons any more to go from Austrian Hut to South-East-Face! Edu Koch, Munich, Germany
