Potrero Chico, Mexico, 2016-2017

I will be spending a great deal of time in Mexico this winter and will be looking for people to climb with. I will base myself out of potrero chico for most of the time. I am an experienced and competent climber,will be arriving with all my gear plus a 70 meter rope, so if for some reason you came down without gear I got you covered. I will be arriving around the 10 of December 2016 and staying till February or March, if your looking for a good partner while down here let me know at elielefebvre1@hotmail.com or through Mproject.

I'll be arriving to potrero with my girlfriend on January 4th or 5th. We'll be a big group of friends you're welcome to join in. We'll be staying at la posada camping hostel. If you're in Potrero then shoot me a message and we'll meet up!

Definitely interested in getting down there this winter. Finances might be an issue but if there are groups of climbers down there and it would be easy to find a partner then I would love to go.

Hey i was suppose to be in potrero 12/17-12/21 but my partner just told me he injured his back. I'm considering driving down there solo. If i do, are you still available to climb?

So...fun beta:
If you are taking Greyhound from Houston, upon arrival in Monterrey you can exit the bus station out to the main road and wait for the Mina bus headed to Hidalgo. It costs 20 pesos. A taxi could run you 140 - 300 pesos. If you are coming in on a different busline (say Omnibus), you'll arrive at the central bus station. Approach the front counter of bus lines clamoring for your business, go to the left end with the blue and yellow sign that says "via Mina" and get your ticket to Hidalgo there. When you go through the waiting area and out the back door to the line of busses, your ride will be on the far end, once again to your left. Happy trails!!
