My thought is that you never know when a small boulder will come loose, crushing your hand, and you have to resort to cutting part of your arm off because no one knows where you are and you've run out of water.

Or outside of slicing/peeling food, basically any emergency situation that would require cutting something. Probably not as necessary when you are 30 meters from the road as opposed to going on a weekend or longer trip

You answered your own question. How else you gonna hack at that fist sized piece of Costco smokey Gouda?

That's crazy talk when there's so many packs laying around the base full of PBJ's and Cliff bars for your dog to ransack :)

Good reminder!

1. Doggie poo bags.

2. Doggie treats.

3. Doggie squeaky toy.

4. Screw the leash, weighs too much and I get pumped from the dog pulling.

5. Electronic dog zapper.

6. Pepper spray.

Please no littering at the crag.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
