Zion NP shuttle

Looking for some advice from some Utah locals. I'm going to be trekking through Zion from Lee pass to the main canyon in mid January. What's the best way to get a shuttle to the Lee Pass trailhead on the morning I'm starting my hike? Preferably from the Kayenta trail / west rim trailhead parking area. I know commercial shuttle services run in the summer but I've had no luck finding winter options.
Thanks,
Ben

Maybe Uber in Cedar City or Springdale?

I think some of the guiding companies offer shuttles. In the past Zion Adventure Company has been open in winter.

Stick your thumb out, I don't know what the traffic is like through there that time of year but it is always worth a shot.

Second the Zion Adventure company. Once you're in the main canyon you can find rides easily. But on second thought I imagine the west rim trail will be covered in snow in mid January , the trail is super narrow at places and would not be safe, call or talk to NPS before you go.

I've had no problem hitchhiking almost anywhere I need to go in Zion. Almost. Lee Pass trailhead shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for the advice all. I'll hit up Zion Adventure Company and see if i can schedule something. I'd rather shell out some dough than have the inconsistency of hitching in the dead of winter. Anyone have experience on the west rim trail in winter? I'll definitely be checking with the rangers for conditions first - thanks for that tip.

The upper section from Lava Point to the Angel's Landing junction is fairly flat and mostly dirt. I'd be most concerned about the switchbacks below that, which are paved, steep, and shaded (i.e. likely to be icy if it's cold w/ precip; also potential for snow drifts).

Adding that they close the Kolob Canyon road (Lee Pass access) intermittently during the winter. Hope you get lucky with weather.

The gate was open last week before Malony hill however Brianhead, in the last 48 hours got 17 inches of snow and it's likely that the gate will be closed which gives access to only snow mobiles... Ya never know though, I've gone excepting it to be open... Only to have it be Closed and vice versa. The gate on the Kolob terrace road is 7.3 miles away from Lava Point. If the gate is open a narrow shaded canyon is the only obstacle that holds snow and creates snow drifts and that is approx 4.8 miles from lava point. Typically the dirt road that drives from the KTR the last mile and half or so to Lava point rarely has any vehicle traffic and is impassable. Vey little traffic when temps dip down like they do since this last storm pushed through. Waiting till mid January, one can only suspect more snow... I wish you the best an Good luck on your adventure, it can happen just will take work and planning. Feel free to PM if you have any other questions.
