Whenever I try to sync my app with my online ticks, stars, ratings, etc., the iPhone app crashes and takes me back to my home screen.

This is happening to me too. I tick the routes on my iPhone but when trying to sync it once I have Internet access, the iPhone app crashes and sends me back to the home screen. Any suggestions?

What route have you ticked?

What version of the app? (latest?)

What iOS version?

What phone version?

Thanks!

Actually, everything is working fine after I restarted my iPhone. Guess I should have tried that first. Thanks - MW

I am having the same issues.

I am running the most up-to-date MP app on the most up-to-date IOS on the Iphone 6. I"ve ticked a lot of routes that haven't been able to sync yet.

I'm also having this issue, as soon as I tap "Sync Now" the app crashes. It's been going on for a while, have a number of ticks that I would like to sync.

V 3.16 (Build 81) on iPhone 5s

I don't have much storage available on my phone. According to the app the stats are: 0.09 GB (0.7% of 12.12GB, 0.34 GB free) - not sure if that makes a difference

Our mobile app developer is getting married this week (in Yosemite, on top of a nice big hunk of rock!), but we'll look into this when he returns. Sorry for the trouble...

That's pretty awesome, congrats to him! No rush, my 5.6 ticks can wait

Hey Developers,

My MP app launches to a completely blank screen and won't even recover when I kill the app through iOS. I really don't want to delete and reinstall because I have a busy 2 months of ticks I have been able to sync. Any suggestions on how I might be able to get the app working again without reinstalling (or recover my tick data)?

Thanks,
Frazier

Hey, MP.

I've been having the same problem for months now. Before, it would just crash the app when I tried to sync. Now I'm getting an error message that says "An error occurred while syncing. Check your connectivity and try again." At least it's not crashing, but I still haven't been able to sync anything from my phone to the web.

I'm running the latest version of the iOs software and the MP app on an iPhone 5s. Have restarted my phone and done basic trouble shooting. Am fully connected to the internet.

It's not life or death but, hey, I'm curious. Thanks!

Same issue as above. I get the "check connectivity" error message when trying to sync.

Any recent news on this? I'm running the up to date app on ios9.1 on an iphone 6. Every time I try and sync it gives me an error saying : An error occurred while syncing. Check your connetivity and try again.
I've tried restarting the app, syncing with and without wifi, and restarting the phone. I don't want to delete and reinstall the app as I have a number of ticks, rating, and todo's that I would prefer not to lose. Any help would be great.

I figured it out. Sign out from the app and sign back in. Tada!

Sean,
Just to be sure we're on the same page but doing that won't make me lose all my pending ticks and todos correct?
Thanks for the help

I just tried it with a fake tick to an area I've never been too, and it looks like it will remove any pending ticks.

I suggest seeing what ticks you have pending, hop on a computer and start to transfer them. Then sign out and back in on the app to prevent any future problems.

It's true. Logging out, then back in works. But you will lose all your ticks and to do's I lost more than I had.

Alright thanks I appreciate the help

Same issue, but I have tried restarting my phone and signing out and back in...
