They are still violating the court order by selling online through
ski-gel.us/ and impersonating ski-angel.com/

They are probably behind lots of other websites and ebay accounts.

Is this product a joke? Is this a real problem that is being solved? If you can't operate your ski boots just take up tele or snow boarding. I have literally taught thousands of people to ski from3 years old to 70+, how did I ever miss shin pain as a complaint with the exception of crappy fitting boots which this product wont fix.

This is the perfect product for these people to sell, a match made in heaven.

Although this has nothing to do with 123Mountain dot com....
Shin pain from ski boots is an extremely frequent problem, especially for women due to the differences in shape and dimensions compared to men. Even in properly fitting boots. It's one of the most common problems boot fitters are asked to fix after a person has used the boots for > 15 days. Ski instructors are often not the person people tell about their ill-fitting boots, although how you missed shin pain as being significant after teaching "thousands" is somehow incomprehensible.

All sorts of complaints from people in rental boots. Why are women susceptible to shin pain?

Oliver Goumas is not selling anything. He is using brand recognition to continue to scam people by creating fake websites while now operating in a different country. Nothing different than when he was "selling" hard-to-find 'grivel' items under fake 'grivel' etc...websites.

EDIT: Looks like the good bought at auction in July are now up for sale at this website.

I think he needs to work on his marketing.... MSRP for $49, but he'll sell them to you for a mere $99.

What a deal...

Women's ski boots are shorter than men's. I believe women have proportionally shorter tibia & lower calves, so a men's ski boot doesn't fit right. Rental places don't tend to have a lot of selection- I gather in many cases they equip women with men's gear. Viola, women in rental gear are probably likely to be in poorly fitting boots.

Climberboy: How can you tell that he is the one listing this merchandise?
We need to alert the AG if that is the case since he is violating the court orders.

I am aware that women have a lower calf muscle than men and adjustments are made in the back of the boot. I would also take a wild guess that this is also caused by poor ankle flexion ( technique ) that leads to slamming forward into the boots. Anyway, enough hijacking this thread. :-)

How do you know this is the Goumas'? This site is registered to a Greg Gantzer of Ohio. This may or may not be a contract to build the website, I don't know, but lets not flame anyone innocent.

Sorry, i misspoke. I think this is actually all the goods that were auctioned off in July by the sheriff after the store was raided. Will edit my original post.

Greg Gantzer was actually one of the victims of Goumas' so I guess he is helping the winner of the auction sell everything.

I have no idea if it's him or not. I was just going off what Jason had said above me. Either way, that website's pricing doesn't make any sense :)

quickdraws must have gotten a lot more expensive since the last time I bought one...

I am the guy that sued Goumas and forced the sheriff seizure. The goods from the seizure are NOT being sold by Goumas/123 Mountain. We are handling the sale of those items on an individual basis.

All items have been listed SkiSite.com. the purchase links point to an eBay store where the transactions are being handled by a third party.

As far as prices and photos and such, we've done the best we could given what we received from Goumas, which was a mess. In many cases, the MSRP prices shown were what was listed on the item. If they are lower than the sale price, it is likely a mistake.

I can tell you that we've spent hours researching every item and have attempted to price every one lower than the lowest price we could find online. That was our starting point. At this point, we are simply trying to recoup the costs involved with putting this guy out of business. There is a link for each item on SkiSite to make an offer if the price doesnt look right.

I apologize for some of the confusion on the sale. Its been a long and painful road and we're trying to do the best we can here.

The MSRP price for that item was the price Goumas had on the sticker. Again, we are doing the best we can here. There are hundreds of small items like this, and we assumed whatever was on the price tag was MSRP. Its all we had to gone on. If pricing on any particular item is out of whack, please let us know or make an offer.

Good luck with the sale.

eBay is the real winner here with all of their fees!
