This is actually a reference to Buchey's schtick where he offers to "fight anyone." He does this on Supertopo as well, but not lately. I have to say, he puts a whole lot more effort into his Taco photoshopping than he does here!

Actually, I'd say it isn't.
There are several reasons for this if you go look at the profile over time.

Ok I read (almost) the whole thread now.

I'm not sure which one bothers me more, sexist/racist (I see mostly sexist stuff) comments or the inconsistent moderating by the admins. Sometimes it's crazy what gets removed and what doesn't.

Also, I see admins being very big jerks in their comments sometimes. Having that little "administrator" tag next to such comments sends a horrible message!!!

The rest of the rudeness is in more of a gray area in my opinion. I don't enjoy it.

If you're an administrator, I assume you contribute to the site behind the scenes in some way, thank you for your work!

Peace!

Yup. Troll expert. Yesssirreee.

I hope you hear me laughing! And smiling. And not just at you. I am not going to let any of you keep going the lazy troll route, cuz, well, it's majorly lame. Especially when you keep attaching the female persona. Hmmmm???

Look at the page. Not tons of stuff, but... great photo pulled from I dunno where of a ridiculous stem (body bridge?).

There's still a real person.

Like Bill said, maybe even a friend

@ Johnny Kipp, I still like your logo best!

Again, we don't always know the back story.

I will say, when I flagged Tom's two posts, I specifically asked the Admins to leave those in, because I wished to reply in person. Far better if the parties involved can work it out; and leave a history for others to see that happening. So, at least that little bit was Admins respecting a request.

Tom, for the record, has very kindly given me my first photo vote/comment. If the previous conversation disappeared entirely, (my bad on my end) then the rest makes no sense.

Besides, these posts, good, bad, idiotic, nooberville, whatever, are how we get to know each other, and I for one, enjoy people being personalities, not Mr. Rogers tootling around the Neighborhood.

You come through town, wanna be shown around? Before I meet you, darn straight I'd like to have a tiny sense of who you are.

Ya'll need to get my name outcha mouth, or I will fight all of you, at the same time, for 6 hours with one 30 min break as dictated by California employment law.

Don't be fooled.

Just the possibility of pugilistic pursuits changed the tone from F-Flat to B-Sharp.

Easy peasy.

Has there been an answer as why the climber is falling in the logo?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
