The new app is on the design table, and that feature is on the top of the list!

I like C the best, followed closely by A. Every time I see B it looks like the climber is falling off.

Sorry to get off-topic, but how about a search function? Recently I was at Joshua Tree with no internet trying to find a specific climb without knowing what area it was in. I had to search through several areas until I found the right one. It would've been nice to just type in the route name and search my downloaded areas for it.

Or maybe that function is already there and I am just too technologically inept to find it?

C is the best, :-) chalking up and getting breathing tempo down between cruxes

The climber silhouette needs work, both aren't great - I like including the climber though. Maybe eliminate the chalk bag

That's the feature we are talking about Mike, coming soon.

And thanks Nick! I don't know anything about coding/web development but I sure can't wait for that in the app. You guys are the best!

A!

Discipline neutral, gender neutral, scales better, is neater/crisper.

KISS - it's Mountain Project, make the logo a freakin mountain, no awkward climber juxtaposed in front.

Ever since someone said it's a falling woman that is all I can see

I prefer C. A is nice too, but seems jarring when viewed alongside the other project symbols. Having a climber adds some nice continuity.

Also are there any people actually offended by someone who appears to be rock climbing rather than ice climbing etc.?

Just cover the logo with bolt hangers til you can't see the mountains in the background anymore.

Agree. I vote for indifference.

I didn't have a problem with the old one but assume you are changing it to make the logos for the different project pages all to be similar. In which case I think the Mountain Project one should also have a person on it since the others all do, so not A. Of the others, I'm fine with the current one and would prefer B over C.

If people are upset about there being a woman on it, get over yourselves. If you look at the other project page logos they are actually making it even since two of the others have men and one of the others has a woman (and one snowflake). If anything this is inaccurate in that last I saw women actually outnumber men in the world.

I change my vote to:

D) Who but the site admins should really give a crap, I'm unchecking "Notify me at the top of web site" as regards this desperate cry for attention

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
