bump, no one? |

According to NE Climbs both ravines are still out. |
I would speculate that there will be something to do in the Ravines this weekend, but it's not going to be 'in', as they say. Weather over the past 24 hrs has been below freezing on the summit, with a continued cooling trend thru the weekend. |

im hoping someone went today! supposed to come down from canada tomorrow am |
my worthless opinion. Bring your A game and there will be something to climb above 4,800ft ish? but doubtfull that it will take much in the way of screws...... |
Pinnacle in Huntington Ravine was thin last Saturday the 26th. The crux was not very protectable. We bailed, but there were parties ahead of us who I assume made it up. |
Any reports from last week aren't reliable now. Too much rain and warmth this week. Had a friend climb pinnacle Monday - Tuesday I didn't even make the drive due to weather. Nick's advice is probably is probably the best advice (along with Al at NEClimbs). |
I only defered to matt. If he had not colored my preception a bit i would have said they are completely out. MY Plans for this weekend are hikeing not climbing but i think if someone went up there sunday and they were strong they might get up something interesting ;) |

Been getting a lot of snow up on the summit lately. There are some drifts at least 3-4ft deep on the summit. A lot of blowing snow today and visibility is really poor. If you check the observatories current summit conditions page you can get an idea where the frost line is on the mountain from the vertical temperature profile up the auto road. |

Ravine was fully in , most routes where in good shape, Its full on winter up there, I should have brought my skis, people did skin up ! |
