Parker was in early November, most definitely has snow on it now.

If there's any snow on the approach to Parker I'd highly advise against heading up there. It's a long hike without snow and down right brutal with snow.

That's what skis are for my good man!

If there's enough snow to ski then avy danger is going to be pretty high this time of year.

But you seem to know more than me, so have fun.

yeah, the approaches to horsetail and lee vining are 4-5 in of faceted snow on talus. It goes, but it's not any fun.

Was at Parker Canyon yesterday 12/20. Good ice is in in both main area, but a fair amount of snow . The 4x4 road was passable all the way, but the approach was horrible. A combination of post holing and semi frozen talus. Skis would be next to useless for 90% of it. The ice was good, but temps were warmish, so some water running under and over the ice.

Anyone know the current conditions up near Eagle Lake or Cascade falls?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
