I want to set a top-rope for my kids to climb there. Easy access is a plus and it should be below 5.6 (it is going to be their first time ever out there). Any suggestions?

The bomb on wind tower would be my top choice.

I've also seen people set up top ropes across the way from wind tower on Whale's Tail slabs. That's a bit easier than the bomb, more like 5.0 - 5.2 but there aren't fixed anchors.

The Bomb is an easy climb at 5.4, but the anchors at the top of the first pitch are a rappel station for multiple lines on Wind Tower. The base of the climb is a ledge with a drop off that could be dangerous for young uns. Also, since there are pitches above, gear and rock fall are a possibility. The Whale's Tail slabs are a good choice. I have seen kids top roping there on several occasions.

If you have another adult with you try the gulley under "the bulge" on the east face of whales tale. About 130 feet so you belay from the top.

Supremacy rock. Park at the visitor's center, zero approach, close proximity to real bathrooms; easy walk up to set up TRs, several 5.easy routes, safe base area (i.e. not a ledge, not much activity above you).

Second Supremacy Rock. I took my kids there when they were little. No rockfall danger, and you will have it to yourself. BTW, There's hard stuff on the back.

Another vote. This is a go to spot for institutional / beginner guided groups, lots of options and close to bathrooms and the lunch cooler in the car.
