Anyone climb on Millet Ropes? I have heard good things and can get a good deal on some Millet gear. What up with them??

This is an old post, but I've recently come across Millet and wonder if anyone has an opinion on them?

According to weighmyrack , they are made in France by Cousin Trestec , but that's as much as I know about them.

Interested in the Absolut 9 TRX which got a positive review here Uk reviews , but I'm interested in any first-person reports.

I have owned two of their 9.8 mm ropes...solid, supple, and good lines

I have the Silver TRX 9.8 70m too. It is a great rope, feeds through belay devices very well (I use a reverso) knots up well, takes a whip well. Made by Cousins, they make great ropes. I will definitely be buying another Millet rope. They do come pre-flaked, but I still flaked and let it sit solo in a gear box overnight to fully relax the fibers. Never had a problem with it and I have put it through its paces

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
