Recently developed a love for the weird and the wide so I'm looking for the best O.W that the local canyons in Boulder have to offer.. I can't make it to the vu on weekdays so I'm looking for anything within 30 minutes of boulder.. Give me you list of the best..(or the worst I dont' care I just wanna keep working on developing my O.W skills.. currently have on sighted a few 5.10 o.w in the Gunks and also in vedauwoo. so I'm looking to keep pushing the skills upwards.

Grand Giraffe in Eldorado Canyon is a fun multi with a crux pitch featuring some proper wide.

By gully at Castle Rock is super fun, but more of a squeeze than OW. Gates of eden at Bell buttress is a good one, pretty short though and much easier than the assigned 10a grade if you actually off width it. Umphs slot is wonderful, very worthy of the 10d grade.

Funeral March on the west Ridge in eldo is one of the more sustained wide cracks in eldo, tread lightly at the top though. Erickson's wide crack on the wind tower is worth checking out during the week, but not worth the weekend shit show.

Crack a beer in CCC, bacon and ergs, the diving board, and Haradrim in ssv are all on my personal to do list.

Lots of good ones in the platte too, and lumpy. My vote for hardest 5.10 in the world is crack of fear.

Also, drop me a line if you ever need a partner for this sort of thing. I always am stoked to get on anything wide but shockingly, it isn't as easy to find others who are as excited for suffering..

Huston crack at cob rock.

At lumpy there's Conads to wolf's tooth...That's a fun link up. Yosemite crack is short, but sweet. Kor's flake and turnkorner are some to-do's for me...

Take a week and go to vedauwoo next year ;)

We are heading to the valley in the fall and I have decided that I am good at offwidths.

Any bouldering offwidths in the front range?

Other TR or Sport or Trad ones to get on?  Would love to work on heal toe, arm bars, general groveling.

As in crack boulders? Yes lots.

Yuk Foo is a good one that starts under a roof on baggy fists then goes through a steep bulge on some bad sizes (for me)

Smoke a Fatty is a real good highball OW boulder

Agni Kai and The Bourbon Legend are two of the best inverted OW boulders in the front range imo, and there are lots of wide cracks of various shapes and sizes at Whiskey Rocks as well.

The Maelstrom: https://www.mountainproject.com/route/105750793/the-maelstrom. Sorry – it’s currently closed due to raptor nesting.

Also – they can’t all be favorite - many good one’s at Turkey Rocks on/semi-in the Leftovers and Turkey Rock itself, especially the right side.

See Sedalia Crack Bouldering: https://www.mountainproject.com/area/111608417/sedalia-crack-bouldering.

Still snowy, but warming and drying up soon. When conditions are suitable, hit me up for a potential partner and other unrecorded stuff nearby.

Ohhh the crack bouldering suggestions sound fun. Would it be warm/melted out enough to go to Buffalo Creek or Sedalia Crack Bouldering areas next weekend? Weather is looking pretty nice!

Buffalo Creek and Whiskey Rock should both be melted out!

Dude go play around at long walk rock area in bocan. There are a few wide cracks up there...I got told off to not post the lines I was climbing...because someone is "developing the area" that was 2 years ago and still nothing...but go have fun.

Most likely the Sedalia area would be wet and cold, even if not snowy. Report please if you venture out.

Scream Amy and Offwidth Buldge at NTM are both enjoyable and pretty beginner friendly while requiring mandatory OW moves.

This is awesome! Thank you. Looks like S Platte is the place with the highest concentration.

Being in Boulder the stuff around CCC, Golden, and BC seems particularly enticing for a midweek session.
