I think the easiest way to do the first pitch is to traverse even lower than the yellow line and end at the same belay ledge with the pin. Keeps that pitch around 5.4/5.5

Perhaps, but you will miss the fun move through the mini roof. The yellow line protects well too.

Lower Pitches. Yellow is preferred to reduce drag, but the belay is easier on green using the rap slings as anchor.
