Anyone know if IMBA is getting the word out on this too?
I'm not familiar enough with conservation methods in NV. What are the options for getting it set aside as a recreational park?

A national park designation wouldn't save Blue Diamond Hill from development. The proposed development, while not on RRNCA land, is pretty much surrounded by it. Thus, private land. Hopefully the county commissioners listen to the people and not Jim Rhodes.
Signed. Thanks everyone for keeping us out-of-towners informed about this issue.

Jim is a person, too, y'know.
AFAIK he was in favor of the land swap, and he wasn't the party that dropped the deal.
