Climbing all the towers of the Keyboard of the Winds
|
When climbing Spearhead the view of the towers piercing up through the ridge is enticing and inspiring to say the least. So, I was kind of surprised to find no info on it. |
|
It is a popular moderate adventure for many folks. Ascending from glacier gorge and up the saddle between Pagoda and the keyboards or going via the Glacier Gorge Traverse or a Walk in the Park. |
|
Oh no I realize that the Keys are a popular passage. I meant more specifically CLIMBING all of the towers. Not just tagging a few summits or hiking passed them on their backsides.

Nice climb, looks hard and fun. Well done! |

I think that Bill Alexander may have done all those spires, iirc, quite some time ago. |

Outstanding! Did you do it without a bivy rest? |
|
No we definitely bivied. Our original plan was not to, but after a scouting mission decided that it would be funner (see: more feasible) to sleep a few hours to break up the hiking. |

Nice werk boys |

I would message Eli Helmuth if you really want to know. He's knows ALOT about RMNP history. |
|
Great tip. I will most certainly do that! |

Sick guys! Adding it to the weekend adventure list. |
