Description Suggest change

This is the continuation of the cliff to the left of the alcove that is no longer inside of the alcove itself. The cliff band in this area is much shorter and this is a fairly popular toprope area. The climbs in this area tend to be harder then they look, but there are easier routes then in the alcove proper with routes ranging from 5.7 to 5.13. This area is directly south facing, so expect all day sun.

Getting There Suggest change

To reach this area cross the dam to Dierkies Lake by following the obvious trail from the northwest corner of the parking lot and continue to the obvious cliff band. You will reach the cliff band at the arête that separates The Alcove from this area, so just head left at this point.
