Anyone have any good info on the East Ridge variation of the Southeast Glacier Route on Mount Fury in the North Cascades??? I have the Beckey guide and have searched the internet quite a bit. Thanks!

You're more likely to get beta by posting on Cascade Climbers. Not as many mountaineering inclined people in the NW on here and I don't think many travel from a far to suffer through approaches of the pickets :)

You can also look up AAC website and journals.

See: https://www.summitpost.org/mount-fury/152299 for route description.   It is now apparently the standard late season route.  It has a 5.4 step that is incredibly exposed, but is apparently easily protectable with medium cams (we only had soft protection when we climbed it).  It is now apparently called the East Ridge Direct route.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
