Fun, varied climbing on darkish granitic rock.

42 routes ranging from 4b to 7c+ with the majority of the routes at 6a-c.

The name of the crag would indicate a lighter colored rock, but...it tends to a more darker gray.

A variety of climbing here on sticky, bumpy rock. Some face features and cracks.

Most routes are in the 15 to 25m length but there are several 2 and 3 pitch offerings.

South facing. Gets hot in the summer and warm bumper seasons.

Getting There

From Chiavenna, take the SS36 a whoppin' 1 km to Prata Camportaccio. Take the main Via Roma street through town. Go around or through the houses at Milino (there will be a large drainage area to the south). When the road can cross the drainage on a bridge, instead, go straight past. At a hairpin bend, stay left on the smaller road going uphill. Past two more hairpin turns look for the crag and a parking lot on the left.

If you end up in the small cluster of houses at Lottano you've overshot. Go back down hill.
