Warning Access Issue: RAIN, WET ROCK and RAPTOR CLOSURES: The sandstone around Moab is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Also please ask and be aware of Raptor Closures in areas such as CAT WALL and RESERVOIR WALL in Indian Creek DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

This northwest-facing wall sits about half a mile past the Ice Cream Parlor (if driving from Moab). There are three crisp crack routes and an enjoyable bolted route, all 5.8-5.10. The rock here is Wingate, but don't expect ICP quality rock on these infrequently traveled climbs. Routes here are pretty decent for moderate desert obscurities. Shady until late afternoon.

I heard the name Camalot Wall for this area through the grapevine. Kind of unfortunate as there's another Camalot across the valley, but so it goes.

Getting There Suggest change

Park in one of the pullouts near the cattle guard, approximately half a mile past the Ice Cream Parlor. Follow gullies to the left side of the wall, then a faint trail traverses the wall to the right. Approach time is about 20 minutes.
