Multipitch book recommnedation

Any good Multi pitch climbing guide book recommendations? |
Rock Climbing: Mastering Basic Skills served me well when I was learning to climb.
Not a book but this has a lot of useful information |
Mountaineering: the freedom of the hills |
This book is very specifically NOT intended for beginners. It says so in the introduction. That said, I read it as a beginner and before my first multi pitch outing, and felt like I learned a ton. |
mountainproject.com/ is my recommendation. Anything you can find in any book can be found on here (or elsewhere on the Internet) for free.
Check out the school section of the website. mountainproject.com/school-… |

its NOT a book about basic multi skills ... which you should learn from a real person, and can read up online at the various accredited sites and videos (NOT intrawebz forums, and not some fools you tube channel) it IS a book that will go through the "soft skills" of efficiency, judgement and risk ... however you still need to learn those from a real person as well ultimately the best way to do multi is just to bribe someone experienced in such ... and then do as many short easy multis as possible most trad pitches can be made into multi ... and dont do that lead up and get lowered down shiet when cragging ... setup a belay from the top and belay the second up, like they used to do in days yonder when dinos roamed the earth practice it as if you were climbing out ;) |
