What presidential candidate would be most beneficial to the climbing community and land access?

socialism is a farce. For people not to understand why people are petrified of the thought of socialism, they don't understand what made this country the most successful country in the history of the world. I personally do not want to give any money to people who don't work for what they want. If you want an education-work for it. If you want to go climb-work for it. If you want a good job-work your butt off and don't expect a freebie. |

As an aside-Sanders pays his interns $12 an hour-hes a hypocrite for his "living wage" policy. Makes you question his commitments. theweek.com/speedreads/5682…http://www.snopes.com/sanders-interns-minimum-wage/ |

How on earth, did working class people start thinking like owners of industry. Shit got confused. Faux News wins again. How else are you going to get rich white males fearful of anything? Especially men in hoods. There has to be a little sweet irony in that. |

It would be best if Sanders got prez, and it's gets more obvious the the more education you have, especially for people who appreciate the outdoors such as climbers. Maybe he will do what he says that he would do for the last 30 years. Maybe he is waiting for his chance to sell out, who the fuck knows. We can put your trust in consistency, or you can put your trust in a foreigner, a nimrod, a liar, or a crook. Those are your choices. To be honest, it's pretty obvious that Trump is your new Fuhrer, ain't shit you can do about it. That's how oligarchy's work. How much education do you think is the baseline for the obvious Sanders revelation? |

I want to know who is going to pull off the first girdle traverse of the Mexico Wall. Perhaps our country's first grade VIII? |

Bernie's campaign ad is totally relevant to this discussion: |

I dont think any of the candidates would have an effect on climbing, nor do any of them appear to have any position on the issue. With the many problems going on in America, climbing far too small of an issue for the president to be concerned with. This is an issue that is managed more at the local level than the national level. |

If you work on Wall Street or have a household income $250,000 or over then I understand. If you're the average American working 50 hours/week to provide for your family vote for Bernie Sanders. He's the only one that wants to help you. Don't worry about slowing the economy as a result of socialism. Nobody's going slack off because their bonus check is smaller. |

Most Americans don't want socialism and Bernie is kind of uncle creepy. |

Ray Pinpillage wrote:Most Americans don't want socialism and Bernie is kind of uncle creepy.Unemployment benefits are socialism. So are most other "social" programs. We live in a largely socialist country now. And if you choose not to believe that, then the other option is that we live in an oligarchy. This hasn't been a "democracy" or more accurately a "republic" in quite some time. Clearly most Americans do want socialism. Especially the ones that get laid off or live below the poverty line. Most "Muricans" don't want socialism because they don't know that they already live in one- and in a lot of cases depend on it. They equate "socialism" with the horrors that they hear on Fox News. To the middle of the country, "socialism" = allowing people to marry animals legally. |

Let's see, climbing demographics = it's either mostly white younger low-income or college educated males or older wealthier still WHITE MALES. Both demographics that lean strongly either for Trump or Bernie... |
