Yep, I snagged 250 feet myself. Not sure what I'll do with it. My understanding is that in-store they have more colors and some 6mm cord all for .03/ foot as well

it definitely says inches. Still not a bad deal, I suppose?

I'm guessing I'm not going to need to buy more webbing now for at least 20 years or so. $12 bucks for 400 feet.

Sorry everyone it's sold out....... I just bought 6,000 ft - what a steal! Haha Jk!!!

6,000 orders of 1 foot, shipped directly to my local REI

REI knows they've priced it this way- its not an accident, though I don't know how long it will last. The price is definitely by the foot- note the "you save 95%" under the price. In the details below it says "Cord and webbing are sold by the foot; when ordering, please indicate the number of feet you would like in the "quantity" box."

Apparently the same deal is available in at least some of the REI stores and includes more colors of webbing and 6mm cord as well.

Yup same here. Reading the comments above though is hilarious. It's funny imaging such ridiculous quantities bought so offhandedly "thanks, just bought 500 feet." Awesome. :)

I nearly fell over when two posts at near identical times owned up to 1000' purchases

I have no idea what I'll do with 600ft but for $18 I guarantee there won't be any shitty tat anchors near me.

I'm going to donate mine to the local grocers to help replace worn out child restraint belts in shopping carts...

500' is more than enough to set every top rope in MD simultaneously and still have enough left over for a space net.

You could make a cheap 600' dog leash for when you bring your vicious dog to the crag.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
