Description Suggest change

While perhaps best known for its winter ice route "Parasol Gully" [see "NH Alpine and Ice"] , there are sections of the rock which appear quite climbable. (See photos)

The best rock seems to be a bit west of the Parasol Gully area, hence the GPS co-ordinates are a little different.

Getting There Suggest change

From North Conway area: Drive north on Rt 16, through Gorham and Berlin to Errol. Turn left (West) onto Route 26. About 10 mi. to the notch. About 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 hrs from No. Conway.

From Western NH areas, drive north on Rt 3 to Rt 26 in Colebrook, turn right (East) on Rt 26 and continue to the notch. About 1 1/2 - 2hrs from Linclon/North Woodstock.

A hiking trail on the west end of the notch leads up to Table Rock, then on East to the East end of the notch.
