Contact the Access Fund or the Wichita Mountains Climber's Coalition for more information on how you can get involved in keeping the tradition of climbing safe in the Wildlife Refuge. Please do not litter and observe all regulations. We had to fight to regain access at one time, and we don't want to lose the privilege again. Local ethics and refuge regulations are that no bolting is permitted unless expressly authorized by the park. Leave the hammer and nails at home, no fixed gear please. Everything will go clean.

Description

A short hike Northeast of Apple and pear formation. This area is a pit that is hard to miss. looking into the pit you will see an easy scramble down the east wall and a overhung wall with some interesting features on the west wall of the pit.

Getting There

its a short hike Northeast of the Apple and Pear formation. If you approach from the East side of Elk Mnt just stay 1/4 of a mile north of Apple and Pear and you should run into it.
